IN-PERSON
WORKSHOPS
Since 2017, The Future Perfect Project has traveled all over the United States, hosting free one-day workshops and week-long residencies in middle schools, high schools, and LGBTQ Community centers. We have a diverse selection of offerings to accommodate your group, no matter what the size and workshops can be customized to meet the needs of the hosting institution. We are currently accepting booking inquiries for the following programs in 2021 (pending availability due to quarantine rules in regard to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic).
OUR SONG, OUR FUTURE
A 4–5 Day Songwriting & Performance Workshop with a Public Sharing
In this workshop, a group of high school students is led through a series of creative prompts to express their experience through songwriting and autobiographical performance. The workshop culminates in a public sharing of the work to the school or community.

VISIONS OF THE FUTURE
A 1–2 Day Storytelling
& Songwriting Workshop
In this workshop, participants are led through a series of prompts designed to translate their stories into songs, autobiographical writing, and visual art. The workshop culminates in a private share between participants.

What They’ve Told Us
To Tell You
Q&A for Local Parents, Guardians,
Teachers, & Facilitators
This is a 1–3 hour forum, designed especially for parents, guardians, teachers, and anyone who believes queer youth deserve to be safe, seen and celebrated, to learn about our findings and report from the frontlines of queer youth in America.

By creating safe spaces for young LGBTQ students to speak out, we extend the limits of those safe spaces until they include the entire school and community.
